AOT participated in the opening ceremony of the new terminal at Kansai International Airport (KIX)

On 18 January 2017, Mr. Nitinai Sirismatthakarn, President of Airports of Thailand PLC and Miss Sasisubha Sukontasap, AOT’s Senior Executive Vice President (Corporate Strategy), participated in the opening ceremony of Terminal 2 at Kansai International Airport (KIX) in Japan. Other participants at the ceremony included representatives from Incheon International Airport, Shanghai Pudong International Airport, Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport, and Yangon International Airport. The new expansion of KIX Terminal 2 will be able to accommodate an additional 4.35 million passengers per year, while the whole Terminal 2 complex will be able to accommodate a total of 8.35 million passengers per year. In 2015, Kansai Airports (KIX) accommodated a total number of 24,060,063 passengers.

เมื่อวันที่ 18 ม.ค.60 นายนิตินัย ศิริสมรรถการ กรรมการผู้อำนวยการใหญ่ พร้อมด้วย น.ส.ศศิศุภา สุคนธทรัพย์ รองกรรมการผู้อำนวยการใหญ่ (สายงานยุทธศาสตร์) ได้เข้าร่วมพิธีเปิดอาคารผู้โดยสารหลังที่ 2 ณ ท่าอากาศยานนานาชาติคันไซ (KIX) ประเทศญี่ปุ่น โดยมีผู้แทนจากท่าอากาศยานต่างๆ ร่วมแสดงความยินดี อาทิ ท่าอากาศยานนานาชาติอินชอน ท่าอากาศยานนานาชาติเซี่ยงไฮ้ผู่ตง ท่าอากาศยานนานาชาติไต้หวัน เถาหยวน และท่าอากาศยานานาชาติย่างกุ้ง การเปิดให้บริการอาคารผู้โดยสารหลังที่ 2 ส่วนใหม่นี้จะสามารถรองรับผู้โดยสารได้อีก 4.35 ล้านคนต่อปี ทำให้อาคารผู้โดยสารหลังที่ 2 ทั้งหมดจะสามารถรองรับผู้โดยสาร ได้รวม 8.35 ล้านคนต่อปี อนึ่ง ในช่วงปี 2558 ที่ผ่านมา ท่าอากาศยานนานาชาติคันไซมีผู้โดยสารมาใช้บริการเป็นจำนวนรวมทั้งสิ้น 24,060,063 คน
