Official Reception by the State Government on the occasion of 25 Years of Munich Airport

[:en]On 17 May 2017, Dr. Nitinai Sirismatthakarn, President of Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT), along with Senior Executive Vice President (Corporate Strategy), General Manager of Suvarnabhumi Airport, Vice President of Foreign Cooperation & Protocol Department and other AOT executives participated in the official reception hosted by the State Government on the occasion of the 25 years of Munich Airport at Allerheiligen-Hofkirche (Court Church of All Saints), Munich, Federal Republic of Germany. Presiding at the grand reception was the State Minister of Finance, Dr. Markus Söder, while Dr. Michael Kerkloh, CEO & President of Munich Airport (MUC), and other MUC executives were also on hand to welcome the high-level AOT delegation.
In the evening of the same day, AOT executives congratulated the MUC executives and staff at the “25 Years of Munich Airport Music Festival” at MUC Campus Festival. MUC is one of the airports that has signed the Sister Airport Agreement with AOT since 16 December 2009. The latest development is that this year MUC was named in the “Skytrax World Airport Awards” as the “World’s 4^th Best Airport” while Munich Terminal 2 was recognised as the “World’s Best Airport Terminal”. This is in addition to the MUC being named “Europe’s First Five-Star Airport”.
Ever since its opening in 1992, the MUC has now become the hub for over 250 destinations on four continents. This year, it is projected that the MUC will process as many as 44 million passengers and 400,000 flights.
In addition, during 17-19 May 2017 Dr. Nitinai Sirismatthakarn, AOT President, and AOT delegation participated in the MUC Sister Airport Meeting at Munich Airport, Federal Republic of Germany. At the meeting, AOT executives had the opportunity to meet with representatives from Denver International Airport, Nagoya International Airport and the Airports Company South Africa. Significantly, during the MUC Sister Airport Meeting, MUC appointed “Munich Sister Airport Ambassadors” as liaison officers in the interactions with AOT and other MUC’s sister airports. Moreover, the AOT delegation also participated in several meetings such as on “Thai Airways’ Parking Bays at MUC” with MUC, Lufthansa and Thai Airways, and the one on “Certified Hub at BKK” with the MUC Cargo Team. In the afternoon of 19 May 2017, AOT President and his delegation travelled to Frankfurt Airport to attend a meeting and visit Frankfurt Airport’s Perishable Center where a fruitful discussion took place with Dr. Doris Gerlach, Border Inspection Post at Frankfurt Airport Perishable Center

    
[:th]เมื่อวันที่ 17 พ.ค. 60 ดร.นิตินัย ศิริสมรรถการ กรรมการผู้อำนวยการใหญ่ พร้อมด้วย รองกรรมการผู้อำนวยการใหญ่ (สายงานยุทธศาสตร์) ผู้อำนวยการท่าอากาศยานสุวรรณภูมิ ผู้อำนวยการฝ่ายประสานความร่วมมือและพิธีการต่างประเทศ และพนักงาน ทอท. ร่วมงาน Official Reception by the State Government on the occasion of 25 Years of Munich Airport ณ Allerheiligen Hofkirche เมืองมิวนิก สหพันธ์สาธารณรัฐเยอรมนี โดยมี Dr. Markus Soder, MdL. the Bavarian State Ministry of Finance เป็นประธานในพิธี และมี Dr.Michael Kerkloh, CEO & President of Munich Airport (MUC) ผู้บริหาร MUC ให้การต้อนรับ และในช่วงเย็นของวันเดียวกัน คณะผู้แทนของ ทอท. ได้ร่วมแสดงความยินดีกับผู้บริหารของ MUC ในงาน 25 Years of Munich Airport Music Festival-VIP Reception ณ MUC Campus Festival  อนึ่ง MUC เป็นท่าอากาศยานที่ได้จัดทำบันทึกข้อตกลงความร่วมมือระหว่างท่าอากาศยานกับ ทอท.เมื่อวันที่ 16 ธ.ค.2552 และในปี 2560 นี้ MUC ได้รับการจัดอันดับโดย Skytrax World Airport Award ให้เป็นท่าอากาศยานที่ดีที่สุดของโลกอันดับที่ 4 และ Munich T2 เป็น World’s Best Airport Terminal รวมทั้งยังได้รับรางวัล Europe’s first five star airport อีกด้วย นับตั้งแต่ MUC
เปิดให้บริการในปี 2535 จนถึงทุกวันนี้ได้กลายเป็นศูนย์กลางที่เชื่อมต่อจุดหมายปลายทางกว่า 250 จุดใน 4 ทวีป ทั้งนี้ คาดว่าในปีนี้จะมีผู้โดยสารมาใช้บริการมากถึง 44 ล้านคนและมีปริมาณเที่ยวบินเกินกว่า 400,000 เที่ยวบิน
นอกจากนี้ ในวันที่ 17 – 19 พ.ค.60 ดร.นิตินัย ศิริสมรรถการ กอญ.พร้อมด้วยคณะผู้แทนทอท.ได้เข้าร่วม MUC Sister Airport Meeting ณ ท่าอากาศยานมิวนิก สหพันธ์สาธารณรัฐเยอรมนีโดยในการประชุมได้ทำความรู้จักกับผู้แทนจาก Denver International Airport, Nagoya International Airport และ Airports Company South Africa ในที่ประชุม MUC ได้แต่งตั้ง Munich Sister Airport Ambassadors ให้มีหน้าที่เชื่อมความสัมพันธ์ระหว่าง MUC กับ ทอท. และ sister airports อื่นๆ ของ MUC   นอกจากนี้ ทอท.ยังได้เข้าร่วมประชุมในหัวข้อ Thai Airways’ Parking bays at MUC ร่วมกับ MUC, Lufthansa Airlines และ Thai Airways รวมถึงการประชุมในหัวข้อ Certified Hub at BKK ร่วมกับ MUC Cargo team  และในช่วงบ่ายของวันที่ 19 พ.ค. 60 กอญ.และคณะผู้แทน ทอท.ได้เดินทางไปยัง Frankfurt Airport เพื่อประชุมและเยี่ยมชม Perishable Center รวมถึงได้ไปหารือกับ Dr.Doris Gerlach ตำแหน่ง Border Inspection Post Frankfurt Airport Perishable Center อีกด้วย
